Title: Principal Linux Platform Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Saint Paul, MN or Naperville, IL (2-3 times per month)
Employment Type: 6M Contract-to-Hire
Salary: 60-70/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION
One of Insight Global's largest Chemical Manufacturing clients is seeking to hire a Principal Linux Platform Engineer for their Global Linux Server Platform team. This person will be responsible for the engineering, building servers, resizing systems, maintaining servers, etc., for the clients largest and most critical application. This application is a Linux based server supporting SAP functions. Given this candidate must have experience supporting servers running SLES (SUSE) for SAP . The client environment uses Azure as their cloud solution so Azure experience must be had too. The role is remote, but candidates must be able to drive to either the client sites in Minneapolis/St.Paul MN or Naperville/Chicago IL. Overall, a critical problem solver, excellent communicator, and a consummate professional will be a great fit for this position.
